Description

We welcome kids ages 7 to 12 to join us for a five-day mini-camp, featuring hands-on cooking, learning and lots of eating! We will focus on following recipes, classic techniques, working cleanly and safely in the kitchen, and exploring new foods.

Day 1: Picnic in the Park

  • Grilled Chicken BLT Wraps with Fresh Herb Aioli
  • Greek Orzo Summer Salad
  • Blackberry-Oat Crumble Bars    

Day 2: Fun at the Fair

  • Grilled Corn on the Cob with Chive-Lemon Butter
  • Greek Beef and Pepper Kebabs with Tzatziki Sauce
  • Cream Puffs (Profiteroles Filled with Whipped Cream)

Day 3: Day at the Beach

  • Caprese Pasta Salad 
  • Smoked Turkey and Gouda Cheese Panini
  • Macerated Summer Fruit-Yogurt Parfaits with Graham Cracker Crumble

Day 4: Backyard BBQ

  • Bacon-Avocado Burgers with Cheddar Cheese

  • Also note that by purchasing seats for classes at The Chopping Block you are authorizing CourseHorse to charge your card if you order additional drinks and do not pay for them at the time of the class.

Refund Policy

  • All classes have a three (03) day cancellation policy, except Culinary Boot Camps 1 and 2 which have a two-week cancellation policy. 
  • You must email [email protected] to cancel an existing reservation.
  • If you cancel a class other than Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a credit card, you will receive a refund to your card, minus the 15% administrative fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • If you cancel more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a gift card, you will receive an account credit valid toward future classes, minus the administrative fee. 
  • If you cancel within three days of your class, you will receive an account credit equal to 50% of the class price less 15% administrative fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This credit is valid for one year. 
  • If you are unable to attend, you are also welcome to send a guest in your place. 
  • Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 have a 2-week cancellation policy so any cancellations before 2-weeks will receive a refund minus the administrative fee. 
  • No credits will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks.
  • In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
