Class duration varies based on enrollment: with 2 students, classes run for 60 minutes; with 3 to 6 students enrolled, classes extend to 90 minutes.
These Japanese language classes are specifically designed for students with little to no prior background in the language. Our engaging, professional instructors are native Japanese speakers who will guide you at every step of your learning journey, ensuring you develop confidence and competence.
Over the course of eight weeks, you will gain proficiency in basic vocabulary and practical conversational topics, practice essential greetings and everyday interactions, and receive foundational instruction in the Japanese writing system, including hiragana, katakana, and introductory kanji.
Course materials are not included in tuition costs and typically range from 20 to 30 dollars. The primary textbook for this course is Japanese For Busy People 1 in the Romanized Edition, which you may purchase online from Amazon or through any bookseller of your choice.
Note: Your virtual Zoom classroom link will be sent to you along with your reminder the day before your class begins.
