  • Time Management
  • Audition Philosophy
  • Audition Technique
  • The simplicity of acting for the camera
  • Difference between acting and auditioning
  • Self-tape pointers
  • The 90/10 rule
  • How to control what you can control
  • Creating truthful work
The second half of the event will be a focus on Rob's actual short-form audition technique from the Second Edition of the book.

He'll walk you through the following:

  • Guest Star technique
  • Determining your “Best Acting Moment”
  • Understanding what your character wants from the sides
  • Connecting those two elements in a large role audition
  • Understanding objective for your character in an audition vs a scene
  • Bringing thoughts and feelings to your work
  • Creating acting moments
  • Starting a scene
  • Ending a scene
  • Co-Star technique
