Description

A 30 year casting guru and author, Marci has cast pilots, one-hour dramas, and mini-series. She's the perfect person to lead you through the intricacies of auditioning for these types of roles.

This online intensive will start with an informational chat and Q & A. Marci will have received your headshots ahead of time and "cast" each actor in a dramatic scene, which you will be emailed ahead of time for preparation.

Then it's you on-camera with a reader. Marci will then review and critique everyone's work and address how your picture and resume "speaks" for you.

Who better to learn the unique patterns and techniques of auditioning for television than Marci herself!

For this intensive, Marci uses her book - The Present Actor: A Practical and Spiritual Guideline to Help You Enjoy the Ride

UPON REGISTRATION, please inform us if you would prefer to work on comedic or dramatic material with Marci.

What to Prepare:

  • For this virtual intensive, Marci will select sides for you to prepare.
  • Assignments will be emailed 1-3 day in advance.

Refund Policy

We regret that we are unable to give refunds under any circumstances.

  • If you cancel at least 3 business days before the scheduled time of your seminar, you will receive credit for monies paid.
  • The policy for an online class or special event is 8 business days prior to the start date in order to receive credit for monies paid.
If you cancel in time, credit is automatically returned to your account. If you are canceling late, no credit is given unless we find a replacement for you. We have, on occasion, been able to replace actors who cancel late with others from wait lists or who might be standing by. If you are replaced, as a courtesy, we will not charge you for the late cancellation. Please consider any late cancellation a charge on your account, and any resulting replacement a courtesy. You may want to readjust your schedule to attend since, although we do our best to have full seminars, we can never promise a replacement.

If you are a “no show” for a seminar, you will not receive credit under any circumstances.
