A crash course in "Art 101." If you've always wanted to take an art class and you're starting at the very beginning, this workshop is for you!

Designed for those who've never picked up a brush, this workshop covers the basic fundamentals to get you started on your creative path.

Topics Covered:

  • Art materials overview
  • How to mix colors and use a color wheel
  • Brush techniques
  • How to layer paint and dry times
  • How to clean brushes
  • What to shop for at the art store
  • Simple drawing tricks to get a reference image onto your canvas

Learning the fundamentals of art is easy and fun—there's no better way to spend your weekend than at the studio, surrounded by people who have shared love for art!

You'll walk away with a renewed sense of confidence in your creative and artistic abilities. Plus, you'll take home a work of art that you can proudly share with friends and family.

Refund Policy

Cancelled Class Policy

Occasionally the school may find it necessary to cancel a course or workshop due to scheduling conflicts or instructor cancellation. If this occurs, registered students will be contacted and will be refunded the full course tuition and any additional fees.

Refund Policy

If something should come up and you are unable to attend your class/workshop, please give us 3 business days notice prior to the start of the class/workshop for a refund less 5% cancellation fee.

After 3 business days, no refunds will be given.

Make Up Policy

Life happens and you may miss a class. You will be allowed to make up one class from the session.

Please request a “make up slip” that is active for the next 30 days. DO NOT just show up to redeem a make up slip as full classes will have NO CHOICE but to turn away the make up student if there are no available tables/space.

You may make up your class in any class that has room, it does not need to be the class that you originally took.

​Make ups are limited to one class per session.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
