Learn about the new labeling laws that showcase the place of origin and how this impacts the perception of Rioja wines. Discover the approval of resurrected native and international grape varieties, which has resulted in the growth of white wine sales. Understand the importance of establishing the phrase “Viñedo Singular” and how it designates a special vineyard to reveal a sense of place. Explore the exciting approval of the production and sale of Rioja sparkling wines, as well as the growth in rosé wine production. Finally, learn about the marked return to the heritage of old vines and how it is impacting the quality and flavor of Rioja wines.

Refund Policy

WORKSHOP REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

Online course and workshop cancellations are permitted up to 14 business days before the start date, with a refund issued minus a $50 admin fee, study materials, exam fees, and wine kit costs. Separate WSET certification exam cancellation/transfer rules and fees apply. Enrollments can be transferred to another course or student until 14 business days before the start, subject to a $50 admin fee and costs for additional materials and fees. Transfers are not allowed into the next academic year starting January 1.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before or after the course starts are not refundable.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
